ABOUT / THE THINKING BEHIND THE WORK

I ended up in marketing because I’ve always been curious about why people choose one thing over another - what makes an idea feel clear, relevant, or worth paying attention to.

My work sits between growth marketing, product marketing, and content strategy. I help brands translate what they mean to say into something people immediately understand.

I’ve worked across apps, nonprofits, editorial projects, and lifecycle systems - using research, positioning, content, and testing to help brands reach the people they’re actually trying to speak to.

The through‑line is simple: understand the audience first, then build everything else around that.

Good marketing isn’t about saying more. It’s about making the right thing clearer.

Marketing, strategy, and understanding people.

I studied marketing at Western Governors University, focusing on how people make decisions, how messages shape perception, and how strategy helps ideas find the right audience.

Before moving into strategy, I worked in sales and account development, where I learned how people evaluate decisions, respond to messaging, and build trust with brands.
